Anna's Old Fashioned Cranberry Salad

I got this recipe from my mother who got it in 1947 from a older friend of hers. Although I've tried a lot of cranberry salads, I always come home to this one. Great for Christmas -- posted by tuttifrutti more...

Chili-Ghetti

This is a good dish to use your leftover chili or canned chili if you like. I like it with Turkey chili. A nice change from spaghetti sauce. Crazy easy recipe but had to post -- posted by kzbhansen more...

Banana Poppy Seed Cake

A banana cake that is perfect in flavor, delicate and so moist. This cake is so moist it is great even without any frosting, but if you should decide to frost it, my Cream Cheese frosting recipe#119806 works well with this cake.. I have made this cake many times without the poppy seeds, it is still wonderful! Be sure to use specified amounts of cake and all purpose flour for this, it really makes a difference with the texture of the cake. -- posted by KITTENCAL more...

Chile Pesto

A cross between an enchilada sauce and mole, this pesto pairs well with grilled meats or vegetables. New Mexico chiles are sweet with a hint of spiciness, they can be found in the specialty-produce section of the supermarket & in gourmet-foods. Toast the nuts in a small dry skillet over meduim-low heat stirring constantly, until fragrant and lightly browned, 2 to 4 minutes. Bean and Rice Salad

When I got this recipe from a friend, I could make a meal on it. Now I can't have corn, so may try it without corn. I really miss it. -- posted by Brenda in Cry. Lk. more...
